Thank you for your letter (copy attached
"YetMoreDelays.pdf") of 7th May 2009. I await your reply with
interest.
Whilst you are about it please consider the
following...
- I have heard NOTHING from the Quality and Services
Standards Team. Why?
- Your letter of 7th May states ...
"Once our review has been completed our file will be returned to
the Legal Services Ombudsman..." Can I take it
that you have already decided the
outcome and that your "review" was complete before you even
started? If so, what is the POINT of this exercise, which serves
only to delay matters further?
- Can I ask why you NEED the "file" to answer
the ONE simple question below? i.e. "Would you please explain why it has taken almost 2 MONTHS for
the SRA/CIU to forward their file to the OLSO?"
- Ummm... By the time we have dealt with this LATEST
round of delays... won't the question be "Would you please explain why it has taken almost 4 MONTHS
for the SRA/CIU to EFFECTIVELY forward their file to the
OLSO?"
- Have you just invented Perpetual
Motion (in addition to time-travel)? ... with your file endlessly
travelling?

Ombudsman to take over the investigation herself rather than simply send it
back. Could THIS be the reason
for MoreDelays.pdf (also
attached?) This seemingly
pointless request for the return of the file appears to come
from the SRA... but DOES it?

Thank you for your letter of 16th April
ref. CDT/33561-2003/Kelly CIU which I received today. A
copy is attached to this email.
In paragraph 1 you say...
"I understand that you have asked the Legal Services Ombudsman
to look at how we dealt with your matter"
This is not EXACTLY correct. Your Office was
CC'd on my various mails to the OLSO as long ago as February.
What I AM asking is that the OLSO look at how you
FAILED TO DEAL WITH MY "MATTER"... there IS a difference as I am sure you will
own. I am also asking the Ombudsman to take
over the investigation herself rather than simply send it
back. It is evident that the OSS/CCS failed in 2004 and
2005 and that your Office is reluctant to acknowledge this truth. It is my
belief (now) that you will ALWAYS remain bised if only in an attempt to hide the
earlier failings of the Law Society.
Would you please forward this email to the Quality
and Services Standards Team (or whatever they call themselves these
days)?
