In responding to our survey complainants made the following comments about the Legal Complaints Service (LCS) and/or the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA)
Education and medical negligence law / The LCC covered the law firm while the ombuds covered the LCC's tracks
embargo 2005 /
THEY HIDE BEHINED HIDEN RULES AND PAPER / NOTHING SHORT OF A COVER UP
did not what i asked /
Never really closed but they claim file closed in 51/2 months / Dishonesty within LCS
Still ongoing/Not giving up / Mark Bowden departed Sol suddenly 1/6/09.
Child abduction case /
Lost my files, forged my signature to close the complaint down / Made 50 complaints against various firms and 30 to the LSO
Ombudsman have returned it to LCS / It appears it's ok to alter notes and lie!
Richard Caplan denied I was a client of his firm to LCS / My complaint has been sent to Scottish Ombudsman
not resolved cannot answer other questions /
Much paper, no result / Told to claim off solicitors' insurance
THE SERVICE PROVIDED WAS POOR AND SLOPPY / THE LAW SOCIETY IS THERE TO PROTECT THE LAWYER
still in dispute appalled at response to my complaint next stage LSO / Too appalled to comment

Solicitors tried to ruin my family /
Supported the Dt Solicitor / falsly instructed 2 Barristers
this solicitor cost me my home, despite concrete evidence sent to LCS / I am about to embark on my complaint to LSO
MY MP IS INVESTIGATING, AND HAS CONTACTED HOME SECRETARY /
Destroyed my home, my life, cost 500,000 in unnecessary taxes, lied to /
USELESS / THEY TRAP U WITH PAPER IN THE HOPE U GIVE UP
Fraud investigation dept refused to intervene and contact police / My complaint against ombudsman now sent to Scotland
They don't care /
3 complaints between 2001 and 2005 against the same solicitor /
SINCE 1986 / SOLICITORS MADE ME BANKRUPT TO STOP ME COMPLAINING
The Personal Injury Litigation side of this firm are a complete sham. / Ombudsman not 'found' yet
serious negligence & possible fraud (resulting in sister losing £250k / They keep "losing" the filemy emails bounce back saying "blacklist'
Poor service complaint was largely ignored /
